Only a few things in life are as exciting as designing and building a home into exactly what you envisioned. Your new home is the ultimate opportunity to express your personal style while utilizing Royal Design Build Co. to help you meet your specific needs and budget. This is an integrated approach that will save you time, stress and money by having direct communication with design build team.
Our years of experience and connections in the industry allow us to extend many discounts and “contractor pricing” on items that often only builders know about (and often times architects do not). Our team will be there to help with each important decision, as well as offer suggestions and information about products and services you’re your home you may have heard or read about.
More times than not, when an owner brings a set of plans from an outside architect or designer (that aren't typically builders or stay up to date with the building industry), they are shocked when they receive the initial cost estimate. They might have worked on their home plans for months only to find it is outside of their budget. Now they have to spend more time and money revising the plans to get back in budget... ultimately taking the fun out of the whole process.
Our goal is to discuss size, style and budget up front in the initial meeting so we can begin with the end in mind.
It is hard to be successful when the expectation is being set by someone outside of the business. Our integrated team approach to designing and building your home sets the bar when considering a custom home.
So what does design build really mean?
Simply put, Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity – the design-build team – works under a single contract with the project owner to provide design and construction services. One entity, one contract, one unified flow of work from initial concept through completion – thereby re-integrating the roles of designer and constructor. Design-build is an alternative to the traditional design-bid-build project delivery method. Under the latter approach, design and construction services are split into separate entities, separate contracts, separate work.
